Many people who keep their eyes closed while working continuously for 8-10 hours on the computer, their eyes get damaged. But the eyesight cannot be increased by using glasses. Eyesight can be maintained by doing yoga.
Everyone is familiar with the benefits of yoga, but do you know that you can also take the help of some asanas for healthy eyes. By adopting eye yoga, you can make your eyesight strong for life. After a certain interval, the eyesight automatically decreases. The muscles around the eyes lose their flexibility and become stiff. But if the muscles around the eyes are strong, then the eyesight increases. There is a deep connection between the eyes and the brain, 40 percent of the brain’s capacity is dependent on eyesight. When we close our eyes, the brain automatically relaxes. 35 percent of the world’s population suffers from nearsightedness (myopia) and hypermetropia, due to which people use thick glasses. Some things to keep in mind while working
- Keeping the neck straight, move the pupils of the eyes first 4-6 times up and down and then left and right. After that, rotate it clockwise and anti-clockwise in the right-left circle for 4-6 times.
- While moving the eyes, cover the eyes with the middle part of the palms for some time, this will keep the muscles of the eyes strong.
- While working on the computer, after every 10 minutes, look at least 20 feet away, this will keep distant vision.
Sarvangasana:
To perform this action, first of all lie down in the shavasana, keep both the hands on the side of the thighs and the palms on the ground. Bend the legs from the knees and raise the back to the shoulders. Support the raised part of the body by keeping both hands below the waist, in this way keep the chin on the chest. Don’t hold your breath now. Now bend the legs from the knees and bring them back near the forehead. Now keeping the hands on the ground, slowly bring the body and feet into the shavasana. Keep the eyes open while doing the asana. By doing this asana, the eyesight increases rapidly. Anger and irritability also ends. This asana is very useful for children’s minds.
Shavasana:
To do this asana, lie down on your back with a comfortable and calm mind. Keeping the legs loose, keep the arms by the side of the body. Let the body be completely fixed on the floor. By doing this asana, the fatigue and pressure of the body will be reduced. Breathing and pulse rate will return to normal, eyes relax and light increases.
Pranayama:
Pranayama is done by sitting in the posture of Padmasana and Siddhasana. Pranayama can be done both physically and mentally. By doing pranayama, the mind remains stable and eyesight remains, both body and mind remain healthy with pranayama.
