A belt is a strip that is tied around the waist to hold the pants or any dresses. It makes the entire look elegant and classy. Several types of belts are brought into the market. Some of them also come with a side bag that can be used to keep small things like phones, earphones, pocket makeup accessories, and so on. Most of the belts are designer belts and some are quite simple. There are formal belts for men which are generally made up of leather and look very stylish and classy. At the time of the ancient era, belts were tied to the waist to carry weapons, especially when they used to go get with others. These belts were used by each man. That belt was tied and was removed mostly at night or at the time of rest. But it was carried the whole day.

They started keeping fans and kinds of stuff on their belts which makes it easier for them to carry those items which are very necessary to carry. So, in every dress, this type of belt was used by women.

In the 19th century, both men and women used to tie belts as per their usage. It becomes necessary for the officers and their guards to carry a belt along with any saviour items, mostly guns. The officer might be a man or a woman. This is the uniform that is essential for them to carry, even if they like it or not. They can remove it only when they are off duty and only if they wish to. The belts were wide and tight and carried the entire outfit with perfection.
In Today’s Era
Nowadays, belts have become a part of fashion. It is tied as an ornament. Now, there is a wide variety of belts and each belt is used as per required. Belts come into existence from classic ones to sports ones, one-sided ones to dress belts, and then leather belts. These belts come in varieties of colours and also in different textures. The side bag belts have again come into existence but now as an ornament and for a change look.
There are duplicate belts and actual leather belts too. Depending upon the price, people buy them and bring them into use. It is tied around the coats, dresses, pants, and many more just to contrast with the entire outfit. Some belts have been manufactured with a buckle and later, the detachable buckle has also been brought into existence. People love to wear them as the buckle can be easily removed and can be exchanged with other designer buckles as well.

Belts were always in use from the very beginning, starting from ancient times to nowadays. But the purpose of the belt differs. Earlier it was tied by the warrior and now they are used as an ornament, but we’re never gone from the trend, rather it looks very different and eye-catching to tie a belt around the waist. It can be simple or designer, depending upon the choice. You can have it in contrast and of the same colour, depending on the outfit. There are casual leather belts for men that are carried by both men and women, depending upon their outfits. It is not always necessary to carry a belt but if carried, it makes your entire look eye-catching.
