1. Scream
Scream is the 2022 horror film. Twenty-five years after the original, the fifth installment of this horror series features a Ghostface killer who hunts down victims with ties back to the OG.
A few cast members are returning from the original cast, including Courteney Cox and Neve Campbell. We’ll also be meeting several new Woodsboro residents, as portrayed by Melissa Barrera and Mason Gooding, and Jack Quaid. Jenna Ortega is another.

2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The original slasher series is back. It will be streaming exclusively on Netflix this time. This story is a direct sequel to 1974’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It centers on Leatherface and the new victims who unknowingly disrupt his life.

3. Fresh
Noa, played by Normal People’s Daisy Edgar Jones, is fed up with dating apps and has her “meet-cute” moment when she meets charming Steve (played beautifully by Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan). They strike up a conversation in the grocery shop. Noa offers Steve her number and quickly falls in love with him.
They set out on a romantic weekend gateway, but soon the romance fades when Noa discovers Steve’s distorted appetite. It’s about giving, giving yourself over to someone, and becoming one for the rest of your life. “That’s love,” Steve narrates chillingly over the trailer.

4. Umma
Iris Shim’s supernatural thriller stars Killing Eve’s Sandra Oh, and Atypical’s Fivel Stearn. They play a mother and daughter who live a peaceful life as beekeepers at a farm. Oh’s character Amanda receives the remains of her mother from South Korea. She is then told that Amanda’s anger will only grow as long she stays in the box.
Amanda is soon haunted by the spirit of her mother as her daughter asks her about other lies and secrets. The trailer warns that you should not become your mother.
Sam Raimi, director of the original Spider-Man trilogy, produces Umma.

5. Morbius
This spine-chilling Marvel story stars Jared Leto from House of Gucci. It centers on biochemist Michael Morbius. When he attempts to heal himself from a rare blood disorder but accidentally becomes a living vampire, things go horribly wrong. Official trailer description: “The line between villain and hero will be broken.”
Morbius was initially scheduled for release on January 28, but Sony announced that it would be delayed by three months to April 1. Although no official explanation was provided, it is believed that the delay may be due to the recent COVID-19 surge.

6. You won’t be alone
You Won’t Be Alone is set in the 1800s in a small village in Macedonia on the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. The film tells the story of Nevena, a young girl who is kidnapped and held captive by Old Maid Maria (also known as the Wolf-Eatress).
Nevena, who is made into Old Maid Maria’s shape-shifting witch Nevena, begins to kill villagers. She quickly discovers that her power allows her to assume the identities of her victims after they succumb.

7. Choose or Die
Video games can kill. Choose or Die is a horror movie that will stream exclusively on Netflix. It tells the story of Kayla, who is a young student who has just been fired. She stumbles upon an old 1980s video game that she finds. Then, she discovers that the prize comes with a $125,000 cash reward.
Kayla begins playing “Choose Your Own Adventure”, a game she created with Isaac. Kayla and Isaac realize that the game they are playing is not a game after experiencing a series of horrifying moments.

8. Firestarter
It tells the story of Charlie, an 11-year-old girl who can light fires using her mind. Andy (Zac) and Vicky [Sydney Lemmon] have taught her how to manage her powers, but as she gets older it becomes almost too overwhelming to control or hide from suspicious government agencies.

Alex Garland directed the latest A24 film, starring Jessie Buckley from I’m Thinking of Ending Things. Harper (Buckley), after the sudden death of her husband, retreats to a quiet cottage in the English countryside. Harper is then confronted with a dark reality when she discovers that a man followed her around and is following her every move.

10. The Black Phone
The Black Phone is the story of Finney, a 13-year-old boy who is kidnapped by the Grabber, a brutal murderer. He is locked up in a basement that’s soundproof, so no one can hear his cries for help.
Finney begins to receive calls from a black telephone on the wall. These voices are from Finney’s dead victims who desperately want to rescue him.
