CLAT 2023: Section-wise Marks and Question distribution
The CLAT 2023 exam will comprise 5 sections. The previous years’ question papers have helped lay out the section-wise distribution of marks and questions for the aspirant’s reference.

Important things about the CLAT syllabus.
- The most important sections of the CLAT exam are Legal Reasoning and Current Affairs. Both carry the maximum weightage of 23.33-26%.
- English and Logical Reasoning are next in line with 18.66-21.33%.
- The section carrying the least weightage is Quantitative Techniques.
Knowing the weightage will help you identify the section that must be focused upon more. However, that does not mean sections with the least weightage must be ignored. Rather they are the scoring zones. So, the candidate must balance the focus given to each section.
CLAT Latest Syllabus

- Application of rules and principles to real-life situations.

Section IV- Logical Reasoning
Under the logical reasoning section, the following abilities are assessed:

Section V- Quantitative Techniques
This section requires the candidate to:

- Application of elementary mathematical concepts and operations.
