The AirPods Pro 2 will come with a new design and improved noise cancellation
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 series in late 2022, along with Apple AirPods Pro 2. according to Viralblogy, this is the most awaited release of 2022.
The new earbuds will come with a redesigned design and improved noise cancellation. They’re made of stainless steel and have a matte finish. The charging case is magnetic so it can be placed on any surface, and the battery lasts up to 24 hours before needing to be recharged.
The first generation of AirPods was released in December 2018 and they have been one of Apple’s biggest success stories since its debut.
The company sold over 10 million pairs of headphones within six months after their release. Which was a record at the time for any product launch by a large tech company. The AirPods Pro 2 is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 14 series. Which means that it will come with a new design and improved noise cancellation.
The AirPods Pro 2 will also have some new features, such as improved battery life. The first generation of Apple’s wireless earbuds was released in December 2017 and came with several updates from the original version like higher audio quality, better antenna design and more stability during use.
In addition to these improvements, there’s also speculation about how much longer. This new version will last before needing charging again (the first generation lasted four hours).
Rumours tech users around the world need to know about AirPods Pro 2 release
Rumours surrounding Apple’s next generation of AirPods, the AirPods Pro 2, we’re gathering steam ahead of release later this year.
The first set of rumours pointed to a new design and multiple improvements to make them even more functional than their predecessors. The device was expected to include a single earbud that could also be used as a remote control for your iPhone or iPad.
It also had been rumoured that they would come with Bluetooth 5.0 support so you could pair them with other devices like an Apple Watch Series 4 or an iPhone 7 Plus (which has been discontinued).
The new AirPods Pro are likely to be positioned somewhere between the current AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. Both in terms of features and pricing.
It’s also possible that Apple will release a new version of its other wireless headphones: the Beats Solo3. Which has received mixed reviews since its release last year.
The company could also add some additional features to its existing range of products. Such as an updated battery life indicator on the charging cable or perhaps even a new colour option that isn’t white or black like they currently are.
Expected launch date
Apple is expected to launch AirPods Pro 2 along with the iPhone 14 series in ending of 2022. The company has also filed a patent for wireless earbuds that can be used as a replacement for traditional headphones. The patent shows off some of the features that are included in an upcoming product like AirPods Pro 2 or even something other than iPhone accessories.
Expected features
The new AirPods Pro 2 are expected to boast an increased battery life of 50 per cent – with the new model charging in just 20 minutes from flat. The wireless earphones can be recharged up to five times before needing a full charge, according to Apple.
This means you’re able to listen for longer without having your device run out of juice. The previous generation took 30 minutes or more for its second charge after being fully discharged. Which meant it was still running on fumes by the time you got back from work or whatever else was going on around your day (like maybe working out).
The AirPods Pro 2 will feature an upgraded design with a more ergonomic shape and better fitting earbuds. As well as high-resolution audio tuned for Apple’s W1 chip for better sound quality than its predecessor.
It’s also said that these new earphones will boast true wireless functionality like other models from Apple’s lineup. Meaning you won’t need an iPhone or Mac computer nearby to make them work properly (this also means no case is needed). Including significantly faster recharging times and a larger battery that will allow them to last even longer than before.
The AirPods Pro 2 also comes with a built-in W1 chip. That allows users to access Siri or other voice assistant apps by using their voice commands instead of tapping on their device’s screen or pressing buttons.
The AirPods Pro 2 launch is expected to be a big deal for Apple. But will it be enough to compete with the likes of Google? This is something we’ll have to wait and see about in the coming months.
