We have seen How Shankar praised Brahmin and suddenly Brahmin got married to the daughter of the King. And how the Brahmin becomes king. And then the time came when this vow can be performed. So Brahmin started to do the same thing he has done before. But the queen unknowingly disrespects this vow. As a result of this king send the queen out of the village. STORY OF SIXTEEN MONDAYS (PART 2)

HOW DOES THIS DISRESPECT CURSE THE QUEEN…?

The queen went to the village padar crying with tears in her eyes. In front of there in a hut, Dhanchan used to live. She demanded water from Dhanchan. He gave her water, so the queen told him about her grief. Dhanchan took pity on the queen and kept her with him. Dhanchan’s oil spilled there and Ghanchi fell ill. Seeing this, Dhanchan said: “Sister! Your coming has hurt me, so go away.”

Rani left there, she came to an old women’s house and spoke about her grief. Doshi took pity on him and kept herself at home. An old woman was spinning Ratio. With the coming of the queen, the strings of the old woman began to break more often, and the thread became less and less tiring. The old woman sends her back as inauspicious.

The queen came walking to the bank of a well. There was a panihari filling water. The queen asked her for drinking water. Panihari lowered the soil into the well, but all the water in the well dried up. Panihari considered it inauspicious and send her away without giving her water.

From there, the queen walked and came to the hut of a priest. This priest gave shelter to the queen. And gave her seated the queen and served food on a plate. when the plate was given to the queen, the food on the plate became insects.

HOW PRIEST SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE QUEEN…?

The priest understood the reason for this. He said to the queen: “Daughter! You are guilty Mahadevji, so you should fast for sixteen Mondays to Lord Shankar.” Then the Priest also explained how to perform that Vrat. Rani started the fast when the Shravan month came. She started fasting with full faith. The sixteenth Monday arrived and the queen celebrated a fast.

Pleased with the queen’s vow, Lord Shankara appeared in the dream of the Brahmin king and her husband and said: “Your queen has completed the vow of sixteen Mondays, so I am very pleased with her. Now bring her to your palace.”

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THIS INCIDENT…?

The next day, The King wandering around in search of the queen arrived at Maharaj’s hut. Queen feels very happy to see the king arrive. She introduced the king to the Priest saying that he is my husband and he is coming here to bring me back. So now kindly give me permission to leave. The Priest gave her permission to leave and said: “Daughter, I am giving you this pot of chanted water. This water can cure anyone’s pain.”

The king and queen bowed down to Sadhu Maharaj and left. On the way, Paniyari was sitting near the well without any money. As the queen poured some water into the well, the well filled up again. Proceeding from there, The King and Queen came to that old woman’s house. Then after sprinkling the chanted water on the ratio, long strings started coming out. So the old woman was satisfied.

From there the king and queen came to Dhanchan’s house. With the arrival of the queen, Ghanchan began to yield twice as much oil from the coriander and his sick body was also cured.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER QUEEN COMES BACK TO PALACE…?

From there the king and queen returned to their palace. The king invited the entire town to dine on the palace grounds and then called the queen to join them. But the queen has to tell a story of Lord Shankar to someone and she is in the huddle that who to talk to…? Because this story can only be discussed with the hungry person. But here everyone has done their eating.

So the King announced in the village to find a hungry person. In one house there is a fight between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. So the mother-in-law was hungry. So the king invites that old lady to his palace. But the old lady said that she is deaf & blind and also handicapped so how can she come to the palace?

HOW IS THIS PROBLEM SOLVED….?

The king send a ride for her to the palace, then the king said: “Mother! If you hear, say ‘Mahadevji’, if you don’t hear, still say ‘Mahadevji.’ Rani started telling the story. As soon as Mahadevji’s story was over, all the limbs of this old lady became equal. She heard with her ears, saw with her eyes, walked with her feet, straightened herself.

Rani said: “Mother! All this glory belongs to Mahadevji!”

The old lady reached home walking. Her son said: “Mother! Who made you like this?”

Mother said: “If I listen to Mahadevji’s story and get a such benefit, then what kind of benefits will she get if she does this vow?” Then the old lady asked his son-in-law to perform this vow.

In time the queen gave birth to a handsome prince. When this virgin became young, the king and queen installed him on the throne. He also started fasting for sixteen Mondays like his parents.
