How to Draw a Rainbow
Learn how to draw a large rainbow with cool drawings, step-by-step instructions, and a tutorial. Now you can easily create a magnificent arc design. Drawing a Rainbow
Step 1:
Draw soft clouds at the base of your arc. Do this using short, curved, and overlapping lines.
Step 2:
Draw more clouds on the opposing side, again utilizing short lines.
Step 3:
Describe the upper part of the arc. Draw a long line curved from one cloud to another.
Step 4:
Draw another curved line under the first. This line will be barely smaller and similar to the main line. It describes the highest color range of the rainbow.
Step 5:
Sketch a third curved line, making the second color strip.
Step 6:
Draw a fourth curved line, creating the third range of colors.
Step 7:
Draw two other curved lines around two other colored bands.
Step 8:
Draw two additional curved lines, one above and one under the arc. Now you have enough coloring groups your arc accurately, with the colors of Roy G. Biv.
Step 9:
Add texture and depth to your image by designing additional clouds. Use long, short, and short curves series.
Step 10:
Color your rainbow. Are you in color, depending on nature, or will you do everything pink? All blue? Will your clouds be soft and white or dark and disturbing? Be creative because the choice belongs to you.
